Bloemfontein is the judicial capital of South Africa and was the capital of the Orange Free State republic (1854 to 1900). It is rich in history, historic buildings and museums and in proximity to historic battelfields from the Anglo Boer war. It is close to Kimberley (the diamond capital) and the scenic eastern Free State, Drakensberg and Karoo.
You are cordially invited to attend and contribute to the premier event in South African organic chemistry. Consider extending your stay to visit some of the tourist and natural attractions in and around Bloemfontein.
